The convention organised by ADTOI (Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India) in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh from April 8-11, 2016, was aimed at reinventing Khajuraho as a holistic tourist destination, whose temples are one of the most beautiful medieval monuments in India. With support from Madhya Pradesh Tourism, the convention gave an insight into various places one can visit while in Khajuraho such as Khajuraho Group of Monuments (the famous temples), Pandva falls, Raneh Falls to name a few. “First time the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has allocated funds for promoting ‘Incredible India within India’ and it was a success,” asserts Jyoti Kapur, president of the ADTOI stressing upon the role of association in promoting Indian destinations. The history of the famous temples dates back to the 10th century, making it surreal to see the detailed sculptures that express human emotions minutely and explicitly.
