Despite the infiltration of e-books and kindles in the market, book fairs in India are celebrated with fanfare. The 26th edition of the New Delhi World Book Fair is on in full force in the national capital, New Delhi, at Pragati Maidan (exhibition hall). The book fair started on January 6, 2018 and will continue till January 14. The theme of this year’s book fair is ‘Environment and Climate Change’.

These fairs are not only an event to go buy books that might not be easily available in stores throughout the year, but they also provide a good outing for family and friends.

With global bestsellers and books in various languages being available at the fair – the event has something for everyone.

Apart from a plethora of books to entice the bibliophiles, there are a number of stationary stalls along with a children’s pavilion to engage the young members of the crowd.
