The grand spectacle of Republic Day rehearsals in Delhi
Every year Republic Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on January 26. The grand parade rehearsals are held in the heart of the national capital, New Delhi.
The year 2019 marks its 70th Republic Day, fulfilling all streams of popularity on the global platform. Each year the parade starts from the Rashtrapati Bhavan Raisana hill (President’s residence) which showcases India’s defensive capabilities and its social and cultural heritage. India has earned expertise in various aspects of technologies and economic growth. The celebrations every year remains centric with its famous parade, with paramilitary jawans who start their lengthy practice sessions at the early hours- around 5 am . The rehearsals are not for a day or two, but it takes months of dedication and hardship to prepare themselves for the final day.
The sync between the leading officer’s command and the marching defensive groups from various forces include, the Air Force, around 9-12 regiments of Indian Army, along with Navy march-past with their bands immaculately dressed up in their official uniforms, the best N.C.C cadets and many other civil forces can be seen rehearsing during the wee hours every day at Mansingh road to mark their presence every year spreading the vibe of nationality and patriotism in the air.
