How important is the international market for your company? In which countries/ regions have you been active and what have the results been so far?

Price Induction is a French SME with an international footprint: we have subsidiaries and representations in the USA, Brazil, Europe and China. Price Induction also utilizes a network of agents for additional covering.

Therefore we have been able to prospect most countries in North, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Thanks to this international network, Price Induction now has an installed base of more than 35 clients worldwide for its WESTT Solutions for education and research in aerospace propulsion, consisting of universities, research centers and maintenance training centers. We are also looking to expand our business line of R&T projects to other countries.

Have you had any exposure to India or presence in India? What has your experience been vis a vis India so far?

India is covered from the AsiaPacific office in Shanghai and with the support of an Indian agent based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks to prospections visits since the beginning of 2016, Price Induction now has a good visibility of the Indian market and is already registering proofs of interest from universities and large groups interested in setting a foot in aerospace propulsion.

Do you know which of your product/services could be best placed/related to the requirements of the Indian market? What are the USPs about your company/institution which put you ahead of your rivals from around the world?

Based on the initial meetings we have had with counterparts in the education sector, India is willing to provide students in aerospace propulsion with the best education: our WESTT Solutions, test benches for education and research in aerospace propulsion, coming from our own DGEN engine program, answer this educational needs in a unique way by giving students the opportunity to go beyond the usual theoretical training and study on real aircraft engine systems, which have been designed specifically for an easy understanding and practice.

On the R&D side, we are willing to support the industry with our in-house experience as an aircraft engine OEM, and can help during various development phases such as initial design, detail design, prototyping, assembly and testing. Price Induction also provides partial and complete engine test benches customized for the needs of our partners.

What are your expectations from the Indian market? Which format of relation with India would be the best suited for you – invest in setting up a unit/subsidiary or joint venture in India, finding a franchisee in India, transfer of know-how or simply sell services/ products technology to India?

We feel that the Indian market in aerospace propulsion is going to expand, backed by the government and programs such as Make in India, and are willing to play an active part in it with partners in the industry and the education.

We are currently still in the exploration phase and building of our network in India, and are looking for the moment to provide products and services to Indian partners.

In the future, should such business opportunities arise, we will be willing to have a local implantation in the country which may include a jointventure providing that we find a suitable partner.
