The resurgent Guns N’ Roses and their massively successful ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’ continue to show no signs of slowing down as they storm into 2017 with more than a dozen shows lined up.
American hard-rock band, Guns N’ Roses is making their debut with the ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’ in Thailand on February 28 at SCG Stadium in Bangkok. Guns N’ Roses will close out the Southeast Asian leg of the tour with this show.
The Los Angeles band, which formed in 1985, announced this tour which included Asian destinations like Singapore and Japan. The band touched down in Japan in January for the start of their current run, playing in Osaka, Kobe and Yokohama.
Guns N’ Roses, featuring the classic lineup of Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (lead guitar) and Duff McKagan (bass), will take the Thailand stage.
The band has announced that starting on May 27, 2017 at Dublin’s Slane Castle the tour will hit 18 more cities across the UK and Europe including shows scheduled in London, Paris, Madrid, Vienna, Copenhagen and more. Following the European leg of the tour, Guns N’ Roses will return to North America for even more stadium dates starting on July 27 at the Dome At America’s Center in St Louis, Missouri and then move along to 15 more cities across the US and Canada including Denver, Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Minneapolis, Miami and more.
This tour marks the first series of concerts that the trio have played in together since 1993. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, Guns N’ Roses is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with massive hits including ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’. The band captivated the entire world with the release of their 1987 debut ‘Appetite for Destruction’ – the best-selling US debut ever, moving 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion II’ occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release.
