Colours of India – Issue n°11 – February 2017

Discover the February issue of our monthly video-mag ‘Colours of India’. The mag opens at FITUR tourism fair in Madrid, Spain. Media India Group caught up with Vinod Zutshi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and talked about the industries plans for 2017 and the new focus areas. Then, we travel to the banks of the holy river Ganga, among a multitude of pilgrims, in West Bengal, on the occasion of the Makar Sankranti Festival. Our next stop is at a colourful and vibrant International Kite Festival in Gujarat where local artisans make the threads in a traditional Indian manner. From here we head to New Delhi where a group of children are trying to set their grip right at playing baseball, a promising sport in India. Finally we wrap up at the 41st International Kolkata Book Fair. National and international exhibitors gathered in the City of Joy to have a unique and informative exchange of ideas, books and more.
