Ultimate Uttarakhand Himalayan MTB Challenge 2017
Boosting tourism and sports potential in India
It was for the third time that the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand organised the Ultimate Uttarakhand Himalayan MTB challenge, wherein more than 80 professional bikers participated from over 15 countries. Challenging the rugged yet pristine turfs of the mighty Himalayas, the bikers covered an awe-inspiring distance of 884 km in seven biking days, passing through 11 districts of the state, making it one of the longest mountain biking races in Asia.
The challenge aims to boost tourism in the state and to inspire the Indian youth to take up mountain biking as a professional sport.
MIG TV was a part of this expedition and brings to you some of its dusty, challenging and adrenaline-pumping moments.
