Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is set to make a major splash at the Paris Air Show 2025, officially launching its sales campaign for the 2026 edition and inviting global aerospace and defence leaders to participate in what promises to be a landmark event.

In a press statement, the organisers says that the biennial airshow is scheduled for November 18–20, 2026 at Sakhir Airbase, Bahrain and aims to build on the record-breaking achievements of the 2024 edition, which attracted over 57,000 trade visitors and 226 delegations from 83 countries.

The statement adds that organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in partnership with Farnborough International, BIAS 2026 continues its boutique approach, offering high-level networking, exclusive hospitality and a curated platform for business development across civil, military and space sectors.

The organisers say that the event will feature an exhibition hall, luxury chalets and an extensive static and flying display area, providing participants with unparalleled opportunities to engage with key decision-makers and industry leaders.

According to the statement, the 2024 edition was marked by significant milestones, including the signing of major aviation agreements. Bahrain partnered with Leonardo to modernise air traffic radar systems, while Valo Aviation was granted the latest business jet operator license. Additionally, the Bahrain Police signed with Airbus to purchase 10 A145 helicopters, highlighting the event’s role as a catalyst for industry growth and innovation.
