Flydocs enters Indian market in partnership with Air India
Digital transformation in aircraft records and maintenance management
Flydocs, an aviation digital records keeper, has announced its entry into the Indian market in partnership with Air India, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.
Flydocs, a company providing digital records, asset management and engineering services for aviation, has announced that it is entering the Indian market as part of its global expansion.
In a press statement, flydocs says that it has partnered with Air India to provide Digital Records Management (DRM) software and Digital Engineering Services, that aimed at improving the airline’s operational efficiency and asset management. With Air India operating close to 200 aircraft across India’s largest international network, the partnership is set to transform how the airline manages vital records, ensuring compliance, data quality and smoother lease returns.
According to the statement, as part of the collaboration, flydocs will supply its DRM platform along with specialised services such as End-of-Lease projects, supporting Air India in maintaining accurate and comprehensive records throughout the aircraft lifecycle. The digital solution is designed to reduce manual errors, enhance data integrity, and speed up regulatory processes.
The statement adds that this partnership further strengthens India’Air s existing relationship with Swiss Aviation Software, the developer of the AMOS maintenance and engineering software. Integration between flydocs’ platform and AMOS ensures a seamless flow of documentation across systems, creating a more robust and efficient digital tech operations ecosystem.
