Airports Authority of India (AAI) gives tremendous importance to the safety and security of airports, aircraft and passengers. In this regard, AAI has taken a number of initiatives and put systems in place to make sure that the highest level of safety and security is maintained at all times.
AAI manages and takes care of continuing and evolving security threats as stipulated by the Indian civil aviation security regulator Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
In terms of safety, fire management plays a huge role in maintaining airports. To this end, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services are vital for ensuring the safety of airport operations by ensuring rapid intervention, quick knock-down and swift rescue operations.
