With the ITB Asia 2018 looming over the horizon, we at India and You present before you the region of India with the most untapped tourist potential. Consisting of the states, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, the north east of India has always had to face the stigma of being clubbed together. And yet, these eight states each have unique things to offer travellers of varying palates. From the serene mountains to the enchanting tea gardens, the landscape is mersmerising. The drinks flow aplenty and the food includes some of the most unique recipes of meat that would sate all your gastronomic desires. We hope to do justice to these eight states so everyone of our readers can appreciate the beauty of the region.
