This issue of India&You for the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (PBD) holds a special importance as it is for the time that PBD is being organised in a biennale format. Earlier celebrated as an annual event, PBD marks the homecoming of Mohandas K Gandhi from South Africa in 1915. Through this issue we introduce you to the Indian diaspora that lives in various parts of world. Their achievements, both in India and their current country of residence, have been phenomenal and their stories deserve a mention. This magazine gives a documentation of Gandhi’s journey and recites more recent stories of diasporic entrepreneurs in India.
