Switzerland Tourism announced their 2017 campaign, ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’ with brand ambassador Ranveer Singh, which is an India specific advertising campaign for the upcoming summer season.
Switzerland is one of the world’s most loved destinations for the adventure and leisure travellers. Known for its snowy summits, mighty mountains, dark gorges, deep-green forests, picturesque lakes, gushing waterfalls, mystical moors, Switzerland is a paradise for nature-lovers. The ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’ campaign launched by Switzerland Tourism highlights the best experiences that one can have in Switzerland and captures Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s love and admiration for the country, which he now calls his second home.
The ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’ campaign features Ranveer Singh having a blast in Switzerland as he tries a range of fun activities to get his adrenaline rush on. The campaign has been developed and conceptualised by Switzerland Tourism and produced and directed by Navzar Eranee of Walkabout Films.
“Our new campaign is to show people that a holiday in Switzerland can be anything you want it to be. It does not matter which age group you belong to because in Switzerland there is something for everyone. A holiday in Switzerland is all you need to get back to nature with their fun filled activities and impeccable views,” said Claudio Zemp, Director, Switzerland Tourism India.
Talking about the campaign, the first Indian ambassador for Switzerland Tourism, Ranveer Singh said, “I love travelling and experiencing everything that a country has to offer and with Switzerland that list never ends. People know Switzerland for its beauty and serenity, but it is also a wonderland for adventure enthusiasts like myself. As you can see in the TVC, my trip to Switzerland showcases a whole new side of the country; a fun and adventurous side complete with adrenaline filled activities, unique experiences and picture perfect panoramic views! I would recommend the experience to everyone and encourage everyone to add Switzerland as a must visit destination on their bucket list.”

The TVC takes one through Ranveer’s summer trip in Switzerland, where he tries various sporty adventures like wakeboarding on Lake Zurich, tobogganing on Mt. Pilatus and ski jumping at the Swiss Museum of Transport. We also see Ranveer, an avid chocolate aficionado, giving chocolate making a try at the Funky Chocolate Club in Interlaken. It also covers Ranveer, a complete football fanatic, visiting the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich.
The ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’ campaign will utilise national media channels such as TV mainlines, magazines, paid search, online display and video audience buying key digital sponsorships, social media platforms and online television.
