Darohar, a Mix of Rajasthani Dance, Music and Puppet show

Media India Group takes you to Darohar, a musical evening at “Bagore ki haveli” in Udaipur, in the Northern Indian state of Rajasthan. In the city of palaces and art, Darohar, in association with West Zone Culture Center, is one of the main cultural attractions for Indian and foreign tourists, mixing Rajasthani folk music, dance and theatre performed by various community members. MIG has met there Deepak Dixit, the founder of Darohar, and interviewed a dancer and a puppeteer, eager to perpetuate their art legacy.
