Unlike the passion of having dogs or cats as pets, natives of the Old Delhi live with a zeal of keeping pigeons and preparing them for competitions. Faizan is one of them and is proud to be a master of around 200 pigeons that breathe on his terrace. Started in the era of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, pigeon keeping and flying is called “hobby of the kings”.
