Disappearing Naga Literature

Naga literature has traditionally been passed over the generations orally. However, with the tribes moving outside Nagaland in search of jobs and new settlements, the rich Naga literature stands on the verge of disappearance. Easterine Kire, who happens to be the first one to document Naga literature in English with her 1982 book Kelhoukevira, shares more about the gravity of the situation with MIGTV.
