The initiative aims to activate heritage spaces through regular events and curated public engagement
In a move to expand public access to heritage experiences across the capital, Sabhyata Foundation, an NGO, and the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTC), destination marketing organisation of Delhi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce structured, city-wide cultural programming. The initiative aims to activate heritage spaces through regular events and curated public engagement.
In a press statement, Sabhyata Foundation says that the programme is expected to introduce a series of regular events across multiple locations in the city, including historical monuments, public spaces and cultural hubs.
The statement adds that the effort will move beyond standalone events and instead establish a calendar of activities designed to engage residents and visitors on a sustained basis.

Officials associated with the project indicate that the collaboration will focus on making heritage sites more active through performances, discussions, and guided experiences. The intent is to draw wider audiences, including younger residents, by integrating cultural programming into familiar urban spaces.
According to the statement, the DTTC, which functions as the nodal agency for tourism development in Delhi, is expected to facilitate logistics, coordination, and access to venues. The Sabhyata Foundation will curate and design the programming, drawing on its experience in organising cultural initiatives.
