Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), a leading hospitality company of India, has announced the opening of Bandra House, Mumbai-IHCL SeleQtions, a 39-key hotel in Mumbai’s Bandra neighbourhood, inspired by the area’s heritage bungalows, artistic legacy and coastal character.

With the launch of Bandra House, a new 39-room hotel that reflects the distinctive culture, artistic heritage and coastal character of the Mumbai’s iconic Bandra locality, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the largest hospitality firm of India, has strengthened its portfolio in the country’s financial capital.

In a press statement, the hospitality firm says that located on Turner Road in the heart of one of Mumbai’s most iconic districts, Bandra House is designed to reflect the neighbourhood’s unique identity, blending its residential charm, commercial energy and creative spirit.

“Bandra remains one of Mumbai’s most culturally vibrant neighbourhoods, shaped by its residential character, commercial energy and creative spirit. The design of Bandra House, draws from this very identity, with thoughtfully curated spaces that reflect its art, culture and layered heritage, enabling us to address this micro-market with a new and differentiated offering,” says Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President-New Businesses and Hotel Openings, IHCL.

According to the statement, the hotel’s interiors are inspired by Bandra’s heritage homes and creative history, featuring layered design elements that showcase the area’s culture. The Bandra House Living Room pays tribute to the locality’s coastal heritage, highlighting local flavours and fresh regional produce.

The hotel also offers a range of signature experiences, including A Culinary Pilgrimage, the Bandra Bungalow Walk, Starlit Strolls on Bandstand Promenade and Rhythm of the Burbs, allowing guests to explore the neighbourhood’s cultural and artistic essence.
