Expanding its connectivity for the upcoming festive season, low-cost carrier SpiceJet has announced the addition of 22 special flights from October 10 to provide passengers with more travel options during the Durga Puja period and the festive rush that follows.
In a press statement, SpiceJet says that the additional services will strengthen connectivity between Kolkata and major metros and leisure destinations, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bagdogra and Port Blair, as thousands of passengers travel home to celebrate the festival with their families.
The airline will also strengthen connectivity from Bagdogra to Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, offering additional travel options for passengers from North Bengal during the festive period.

According to the airline, the expanded services will also include a Mumbai-Port Blair connection via Kolkata without a change of aircraft, providing passengers with an additional travel option between the two destinations.
The special flights will operate from October 10, covering the Durga Puja period and the subsequent travel rush as families return home and travellers plan festive breaks.
The additional services include flights on the Delhi-Kolkata, Delhi-Bagdogra, Mumbai-Kolkata, Kolkata-Bengaluru, Bengaluru-Bagdogra and Kolkata-Port Blair routes.

We are adding 22 special flights to give passengers more choice and make it easier to travel to Kolkata and Bagdogra during the festive season. According to the airline, the additional services include SG 0130 from Delhi to Kolkata, departing at 5:20 and arriving at 7:35 and SG 0131 from Kolkata to Delhi, departing at 8:25 and arriving at 11:00. SG 0132 will operate from Delhi to Bagdogra, departing at 11:15 and arriving at 13:15, while SG 0133 will operate from Bagdogra to Delhi from 13:55 to 15:55. SG 0134 will operate from Mumbai to Kolkata, departing at 6:10 am and arriving at 9:00 am, followed by the same flight number from Kolkata to Port Blair from 9:40 am to 11:40 am. SG 0135 will operate from Port Blair to Kolkata from 12:30 pm to 14:30 pm, followed by Kolkata to Mumbai from 15:10 pm to 18:00. SG 0136 will operate from Mumbai to Kolkata from 18:45 to 21:35, while SG 0137 will operate from Kolkata to Mumbai from 22:30 to 1:20.
The schedule also includes SG 0156 from Delhi to Kolkata, departing at 6:45 and arriving at 9:05, SG 0157 from Kolkata to Bengaluru from 9:55 to 12:30, SG 0158 from Bengaluru to Kolkata from 13:20 to 15:55 and SG 0159 from Kolkata to Delhi from 16:45 to 19:15. SG 0171 will connect Bengaluru with Bagdogra from 7:05 to 9:55, while SG 0172 will operate from Bagdogra to Bengaluru from 10:40 to 13:50.
Additional services include SG 0150 from Delhi to Bagdogra, departing at 7:40 and arriving at 10:25, SG 0151 from Bagdogra to Kolkata from 10:55 to 12:40, SG 0152 from Kolkata to Bagdogra from 13:10 to 14:55, SG 0153 from Bagdogra to Kolkata from 15:25 to 17:10, SG 0154 from Kolkata to Bagdogra from 17:40 pm to 19:25 and SG 0155 from Bagdogra to Delhi from 20:00 to 22:45.
