Embraer delivers its 1800th E-Jet aircraft to Royal Jordanian

Royal Jordanian is set to receive a total of eight E2s

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer says with the delivery of the third E2 jet to Royal Jordanian, it has now delivered a total of 1800 E190-E2 jets across the world that have been used by 2 billion passengers in 20 years.

Sao Paolo-based aircraft manufacturer Embraer has delivered its 1800th E-Jet, the Azorra E190-E2, to Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flag carrier of Jordan.
In a press statement, Embraer says that this delivery is the third E2 for the Royal Jordanian, which currently operates four first-generation E-Jets.
It adds that as per the current agreement, Royal Jordanian is set to receive a total of eight E2s.
It adds that since the first E-Jet aircraft entered service in 2004, E-Jets have achieved global success, operating in the fleets of 90 airlines and leasing companies from over 60 countries. Embraer says that over 20 years of service, E-Jets have transported two billion passengers on 26 million flights, covering a distance of 140 million km, with 90 airlines from 60 countries.
