A number of important airshows are lined up for the next 18 months as aviation giants, defence leaders and aerospace innovators gather at different locations across the world.

From vintage aircraft and aerial stunts to futuristic flying taxis and cutting-edge defence systems, the world’s top air shows offer a front-row seat to aviation’s past, present and future.

Here are some of the most anticipated aerospace events in 2025 and 2026.

Paris Air Show

When: June 16-22, 2025

Where: Paris, France

Paris Air show is one of the oldest and most prominent air shows in the world. The 2025 edition of the event is expected to bring together over 2,400 exhibitors who will cover every aspect of aeronautics and space, from defence and commercial aviation to space exploration, unmanned systems, and new technologies. Over 50 countries are slated to send officials, with national pavilions showcasing the best of their aerospace industries.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025

When: July 21-27, 2025

Where: Wisconsin, USA

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the world’s largest gathering of aviation enthusiasts. It draws around 700,000 visitors and showcases over 10,000 aircraft, from vintage planes to experimental builds. The event offers daily aerobatic shows, evening light displays, educational workshops and forums. It is known for its strong focus on general aviation and aviation culture, offering a unique hands-on experience for both professionals and the public.

Dubai Airshow 2025

When: November 17-21, 2025

Where: Dubai

The Dubai Airshow is a leading global aerospace event. This year, it is set to host more 135,000 professionals from around 148 countries. With more than 190 aircraft on display, the show will highlight innovations in aviation, defence, space and urban air mobility, including drones and electric flying vehicles (eVTOLs). The show also features start up hubs and major conferences covering future flight, sustainability, and cybersecurity. New additions include eVTOL Flying Display, flying taxis display due to fly Dubai skies by 2026.

Singapore Airshow 2026

When: February 3 – 8, 2026

Where: Singapore

Singapore Airshow is Asia’s top aerospace and defence event. It brings together global manufacturers, governments and aviation leaders to showcase the latest in civil and military aviation. This year, the event will feature a new Space Summit, a two-day space-focused conference and exhibition from February 2 to 3, showcasing Singapore’s space capabilities. The airshow is known for attracting VIP delegations and decision-makers from across the Asia-Pacific, offering networking and business opportunities.

World Defence Show (WDS), Saudi Arabia

When: February 8 – 12, 2026

Where: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The World Defence Show in Riyadh is one of the most important defence exhibitions in the Middle East. The event is expected to feature more than 700 exhibitors from over 76 countries. The show will cover land, air, sea, space and security systems with live demos and aerial displays. New additions include Future Defence Lab, Unmanned Systems Zone and Naval Zone. This event supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of growing its local defence industry.

Farnborough International Airshow 2026

When: July 20-24, 2026

Where: Hampshire, United Kingdom

A key industry event, it highlights developments in aerospace, defence, and space technologies. It attracts global aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, and defence delegations. Farnborough is also known for promoting sustainability in aviation and features future flight technologies, including hybrid and electric aircraft. The 2026 edition is expected to host 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries, and over 100,000 visitors. The show will feature both civil and military aircraft, with the number potentially exceeding 90.

Airshow China (Zhuhai Airshow) 2026

When: November 10 – 15, 2026

Where: Zhuhai, China

Airshow China in Zhuhai is the country’s leading international aerospace and defence exhibition. The show includes flying displays, large static aircraft, and advanced Chinese defence systems such as fighter jets, drones, and missile technologies. It attracts exhibitors and officials from across the world and provides insight into China’s growing capabilities in both military and civil aviation.
