The Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has announced its new Executive Committee for the 2025-2027 term at its Annual General Meeting in New Delhi, setting the direction for the association’s next phase of growth and industry leadership.

In a press statement, IEIA says that, as the association moves closer to completing two decades of service to the exhibition industry, the new committee will steer IEIA into its next phase, branded as IEIA 2.0. This renewed phase will focus on innovation, collaboration, inclusivity and preparing the exhibition ecosystem for future growth.

It adds that providing continuity and strategic leadership, will continue as President of IEIA, while Ubaid Ahmad takes charge as Vice President, Jagdish Patankar remains Honorary Secretary and P Ramakrishna continues as Honorary Treasurer. Sudeep Sarcar, Vipul Agarwal and Dharampal Malhotra will continue as Executive Committee Members for the new term.

The newly inducted members include Avisha Desai, Nazeeba Zarin, Pallavi Mehra, Satyendra Mehra and Sudhir Dhavan. Strengthening the leadership further, Rakesh Kumar joins the committee as Ex-Officio Past-President.

Further it adds, the new committee reflects a stronger push towards diversity, with three women leaders taking seats on the Executive Committee, underlining IEIA’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the industry.

“The Indian exhibition industry is poised for unprecedented expansion. Our newly-appointed Executive Committee will be the key catalyst in driving this transformative growth phase,” says Sooraj Dhawan.
