This upcoming wine and dine festival is going to be offering dishes by some renowned chefs and wine from a selected collection.
The ninth annual CCB Asia Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival is being organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) with China Construction Bank (Asia) as its sponsor. The event will take place between October 26-29 at the Central Harbourfront event space, and is going to witness an exciting line-up of chefs.
Besides an interesting group of chefs at work, the event in association with Robert Parker Wine Advocate Pavilion will have over 400 wine and dine booths.The Pavilion will also offer a quality tasting experience from established classics with a minimum rating of 88 on 100.
The event will also be an opening for another feast that is to take place in Hong Kong in the month of November. The Hong Kong Great November Feast will be an entire month of wine events, street carnivals and gastronomic indulgences.
The event is going to see participation from Chicago based chef Curtis Duffy. A Michelin Star for four consecutive years, Duffy is also known for his award-winning documentary For Grace, showcasing his journey of making his dream restaurant. Duffy is also a recipient of James Beard award, an annual award presented for excellence in cuisine, culinary writing, and culinary education in the United States of America.
Another chef to be present at the festival is Taiwan-born André Chiang, recognised as one of the most influential chefs in Asia, and for his ‘octa-philosophy’- of using eight elements in his dishes.
Singaporean chef Janice Wong, who appeared as a guest judge in season seven of Australia’s Masterchef and one of Asia’s best pastry chef is also going to be participating.
Each year, the festival attracts a huge crowd, who come to sample the selected food and drinks on the menu.
