Global leaders to gather for second annual Dare to Overcome Conference

DTO 2024 will bring together global business leaders, innovators, and Employee Resource Groups from top multinational corporations

Dare to Overcome (DTO), a global initiative promoting peace and intercultural understanding in workplaces and marketplaces, will host its flagship event on Monday at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

The second annual Dare to Overcome (DTO) conference will be held on December 9 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. This flagship event, focused on promoting peace and intercultural understanding, will bring together global leaders and organisations to discuss inclusive practices and celebrate advancements in fostering diverse workplaces and communities.

In a press statement, the organiser says that DTO 2024 will bring together global business leaders, innovators, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) from top multinational corporations like Salesforce, PayPal, Equinix and American Airlines to share best practices and celebrate progress in creating inclusive, intercultural workplaces and communities.

It adds that the event will feature the King Hussein Global Business Intercultural Peace Awards, honouring leaders in three areas, namely core business, social investment and philanthropy and advocacy and public policy.

The organisers say that the event will present the India REDI (Religious Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) Monitor Report, with special recognition of the top 10 scoring companies for their achievements.

It adds that DTO 2024 will also introduce the Human Rights, Business Skills & Peace Secondary School Curriculum, set to pilot in India in 2024-2025. This initiative integrates ten core human rights with essential business skills, promoting inclusive peace and mutual understanding.

The statement adds that this year’s edition continues its mission to foster diverse and inclusive workplaces while advancing the United Nations’ SDG 16 that is Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
