Goa tourism curated 3-day pilgrimage circuit traversing through 11 temples
The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, will launch the ‘Ekadasha Teertha Yatra’ on July 24, from Shree Mahaganapati Temple in Khandola, marking a significant step towards strengthening spiritual tourism in the State.
In a press statement, the tourism board says that the initiative introduces a specially curated three-day pilgrimage circuit connecting 11 prominent temples across Goa, offering devotees and visitors an immersive journey through the State’s rich spiritual, cultural and heritage landscape.

It adds that he launch will feature the flagging off of two dedicated pilgrimage buses that will operate along the circuit, providing devotees and visitors with comfortable, convenient and seamless travel. The initiative aims to make Goa’s important places of worship more accessible while celebrating its enduring temple traditions. It also reflects Goa Tourism’s continued efforts to diversify the State’s tourism offerings through experiences rooted in spirituality, heritage and culture.

According to the statement the three-day pilgrimage circuit has been designed to encourage visitors to experience Goa beyond its beaches while showcasing the State’s centuries-old temple traditions and living cultural heritage.
On Day 1, the route covers Shree Mahaganapati Devasthan at Khandola, Shree Devkikrishna Devasthan at Marcel, Shree Anant Devasthan, situated at Savoi-Verem and Shree Mahadev Temple in Tambdi Surla. The itinerary for Day 2 includes Shree Brahmadev Devasthan at Brahma Karmali, Valpoi, Shree Saunsthan Dattawadi at Sankhali and Shree Saptakoteshwar Devasthan in Narve. On Day 3, the pilgrims will visit Shree Parashuram Devalaya at Poinguinim, Shree Shantadurga Kunkalikarin Devasthan at Fatorpa, Shree Damodar Temple in Zambaulim and the Shree Hari Mandir situated at Margao.
Along the route, pilgrims will also have the opportunity to explore several nearby cultural, historical and natural attractions, creating a holistic journey that blends spirituality with Goa’s rich heritage, traditions and scenic landscapes.
