9 months into protest: Farmers remain committed to cause

The farmers protest against the three farm laws that were rushed through the Parliament in mid-2020, at a time when the nation was battling the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, has completed nine full months. Thousands of farmers, who have been gathered at three borders of the capital New Delhi since November 26, 2020, say their morale and the commitment to the objective of the protest, withdrawal of the three farm laws, remain as high as ever, even though not one of them expected the movement to last as long as it has.
