Despite numerous controversies around it, the Central Government is continuing to push ahead with the Central Vista redevelopment project, even in the midst of the catastrophic second wave of Covid-19 that has crippled the country. Central Vista project envisages building of a new Parliament as well as homes for Vice President and Prime Minister, besides a clutch of government offices and national museums, art galleries and national archives.
