Colours of India – Issue n°8 – November 2016

In this November issue of our monthly video-magazine, ‘Colours of India’, we first meet Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Indian Minister of State for Culture and Tourism. He talks about the strategies to attract more Japanese tourists to India. Following suit, Dr Vinod Zutshi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, will elaborate on the huge opportunities that India has at the famous World Travel Market 2016, in London. Then, we take you to ITB Asia, the international tourism fair organised in Singapore, promoting  India to the South and South East Asian countries.  Back to India, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, we celebrate Gavari, a 40-day festival, with the Bheel tribe.  Our journey concludes in Kolkata with the five-day Durga Puja festivities, culminating in Diwali, a pan-India celebration.
