Diwali celebrations of Vrindavan’s widows

Vrindavan is home to thousands of widows who are kept afar from auspicious rituals and gatherings. Shattering the claws of patriarchy, they have been celebrating Diwali, one of the most auspicious festivals in Hinduism in Vrindavan. This year the celebration was on October 25 at Keshi Ghat.
