Exclusive interview with Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand

In an exclusive interview with Media India Group, Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of the eastern state of India, Jharkhand, talks about the state’s potential for investors in various sectors including mining and coal sectors, and about the different proactive state policies. As an auto and IT hub, the state, which has a population of more than 32 million mostly of young people, is also looking at European investors. With its new, investor-friendly framework, Jharkhand is eyeing important industrial and tertiary projects. Also working towards skill development, Jharkhand has signed a MoU with Government of India and is looking at training hundreds of thousands of people, notably in collaboration with big Indian and international companies, such as Cisco and Tata.
