The second India –Central Europe Business Forum was organised September 5 and 6 2015 in the Ashok Lalit Hotel in Bangalore. The goal was to harness business relations and synergies between two fast growing zones: India and Central Europe, the emerging market zone of Europe.

It has involved ministers, like General V.K Singh, Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, whom MIG has interviewed, but also ambassadors, businessmen. It has looked both ways in the India-Central Europe relationships, in areas like IT and clean energy. Poland, a European tiger, was the partner country, very eager to focus more and more on India, notably in the energy sector. MIG has interviewed Leszek Soczewica, Polish Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the new Indian focus for Poland. And Agnieszka Wasilewska– Semail, President of RAFAKO, a power sector Polish company, already active in India and promoting clean coal technologies there.

Business between India and Central Europe is booming. But more has to be done and the next step is to develop even more people to people relations.
