Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal: Giving a dignified farewell to Covid victims

The government seems to have abdicated during the second wave of the pandemic, leaving the people to struggle on their own for oxygen, hospital beds, ambulances or even for the last rites of their loved ones. Fortunately, several NGOs have stepped in to help and provide solace and a human touch to those in the mourning.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal is one such organisation that has taken upon itself to help next of the kin give a dignified farewell to the Covid-19 victims.

Media India Group spoke to Jitinder Singh Shunty, head of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal, on the role played by his organisation in helping families of Covid-19 victims and give a dignified farewell to their loved ones.
