As part of expanding its presence in the growing domestic market in India, global hospitality leader Marriott International has opened its 200th outlet in India.

In a press statement, Marriott says that the opening of Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort and Spa in Jaipur stands as a reflection of the brand’s connection with the markets and expands Westin’s balance driven-approach to hospitality in the country.

The statement adds that Marriott continues to strengthen its presence in the country, spanning across metropolitan centres to business and leisure destinations nationwide. India remains the top three priority markets globally and is driven by a rapidly expanding domestic travel base, rising affluence and continued investment in tourism infrastructure.

The statement says that the newly opened property reflects on Marriott’s commitment to the region and confidence in the country’s hospitality landscape. The momentum underscores the company’s commitment to expand choice, deepen guest engagement and shape the future of hospitality in one of the world’s dynamic travel markets. 

The resort has 135 keys, including premium rooms, suites and private villas. Each villa has private garden spaces and plunge pools, it adds.
