Loy Krathong celebration in Delhi | Thailand

Loy Krathong also known as the festival of lights is one of the exuberant events celebrated in the Kingdom of Thailand in the 12th lunar month. The beautiful fiesta is dedicated to water which is considered a sacred source of life across the Thai culture. The Tourism Authority of Thailand celebrated the festival in New Delhi where the celebration included cultural performances, traditional Thai Boxing, Krathong making that is lighted paper floats and umbrella painting. Similar to the Indian festival of Diwali, during this Thai festival the kingdom is beautifully illuminated.
