Government services firm BLS International has been awarded a major contract by UIDAI to set up and manage district-level Aadhaar Seva Kendras, reinforcing its role in delivering critical government-to-citizen identity services across India.

BLS International Services, a visa services firm, has secured a significant contract from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to establish and operate District Level Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs).
In a press statement, BLS says that the work order, valued at approximately INR 20.5 billion, marks a major step in advancing Aadhaar enrollment and related citizen services across India.
The statement adds that the newly-constituted ASKs will serve as central hubs for both appointment-based and walk-in Aadhaar enrollment, updates, and other key services.
BLS says that under the project’s broad framework, BLS International will take complete end-to-end responsibility for setting up and managing the district-level Aadhaar Seva Kendras. The operations will be conducted under the close supervision of UIDAI, ensuring adherence to government protocols and standards. This contract further solidifies BLS International’s position as a trusted partner of governments worldwide.
