Mauryan-era Ashoka pillar withers away

One of the Ashokan pillars in New Delhi is wearing away to the extent that it cannot be restored. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) missed out on this blunder happening but will now be taking the necessary steps to restore this informative art piece from Indian history.
