The iconic Yacht Show in Monaco is the leading trade fair for yacht enthusiasts, buyers and the luxury yachting market professionals. The 27th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show is expected to draw 34,000 participants, including buyers and industry professionals.
To be held at Port Hercules from September 27 to September 30, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), each year has an exhibition of more than 120 superyachts and megayachts, measuring 25 to 100 metres long. The aim is to encourage a holistic approach to yachting lifestyle, which is this year’s primary focus and includes luxury yachts, gastronomical treats and unparalleled views. The four-day event unfolds exciting experiences aboard the yachts. The city famous for hosting the Grand Prix annually will unveil 45 new launches in a worldwide debut during the upcoming MYS.
Bill Springer, the editor-in-chief of Ocean Home Magazine states in an article, “But when it comes to the absolute pinnacle of luxury, it’s impossible to compete with owning a superyacht. And for those select few who happened to be shopping for a superyacht, there’s only one place to see nearly all of the best, and biggest, and the most technologically advanced yachts that money can buy (in addition to the tenders, and limousines, and private submarines, and luxury cars that go along with owning a superyacht) in one place—the Monaco Yacht Show that starts later this month.”

This year, attendees can look forward to four major exhibitions in the revamped zone: The new Starboard lounge for exhibition, the Car Deck (car exhibition), Tenders & Toys and The Holland Pavilion.
Luxury and business under one roof
Located under the exhibition tent Parvis Piscine, away from the crowd of the Port Hercules, the Lounge at the heart of the MYS ensures that relaxation meets business. The meeting rooms at the Upper Deck lounge are open to visitors and participants for professional meetings as well as for a relaxing time. The Upper Deck lounge has its own restaurant cum private dining café, champagne bar and lounge with free Wi-Fi access.
The Lanson Champagne Bar welcomes revellers with snacks, sweet delicacies, refreshments and the signature French Lanson champagne. MYS restaurant, which offers a different menu every day is specially crafted by Philippe Joannes from Private Dining by Fairmont Monte Carlo.
The newly introduced Car Deck is a car exhibition zone reserved for superyacht clientele and hosts about fifteen luxury cars. The patrons are even allowed test drives for some of the models. For 2017, the Car Deck is relocated to “Quai Antoine Ier” next to the new exhibition areas of the Tenders and Toys Show and the brand-new lounge of the MYS: Starboard. It will showcase high-performance cars from the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley, Hemmels, Hoffmann, Lamborghini, Mc Laren, Mercedes, Monaco Luxury Group and Shelby by Gentleman Car.
Not child’s play
The Tenders & Toys dedicated to the new, younger superyacht clientele is an exhibition of the trendiest water toys on docks and afloat. This was designed to meet the demands of the younger patrons for whom entertainment is one of the leading criteria in the choice of a yacht (to buy or charter).
The international yachting exhibition has one-day tickets, pro tickets and VIP Programme tickets for those looking forward to attending the event. Located at a distance of 30km from Nice Côte d’Azur airport and the Nice railway station, Monaco is accessible by shuttle helicopter, train or by road.
