Upscale French hospitality firm Accor Group has introduced its first Grand Mercure hotel in Agra, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and the iconic Taj Mahal.

According to a press statement, the new property is strategically located in Fatehabad, a short drive away from the famous tourist site. The 168-key property is scheduled to open in September.

The statement adds that the culinary offerings of the hotel are set to make a lasting impression, encompassing a multi-cuisine, all-day dining restaurant, an elegant bar for savouring fine spirits and an alfresco terrace restaurant, which will provide a blend of exquisite cuisine and stunning city vistas.

It adds that the hotel will further offer a meeting space of 300 sqm, equipped with the latest technology, alongside amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a rejuvenating spa and a swimming pool.
