Anuradha Venkatachalam joins Marriott as pre-opening Hotel Captain for Moxy Bengaluru

Venkatachalam is set to take on her new role from her home ground in Bengaluru, with Marriott International

United States-based hospitality titan Marriott International has appointed Anuradha Venkatachalam as the pre-opening Hotel Captain for Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloud. It is poised to be the first Moxy Hotel to launch in India. 

In a press statement, Marriott says that after extensive international experience in the hospitality industry, spanning across the Middle East and South East Asia, Venkatachalam is set to take on her new role from her home ground in Bengaluru, with Marriott International. 

The statement adds that she started her career in the hospitality industry with IHG in 2010 at Crowne Plaza Bahrain before moving to Kuwait and Oman as her career progressed. In addition to hotels within IHG, Anuradha also worked at the JW Marriott Kuwait as Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and PR. Subsequently, she returned to IHG in Singapore, where she held several key leadership positions within the Commercial and Operations domain. Anuradha worked most recently as Director of Operations at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre.
