Holiday Inn will add 200 keys to its presence in South India, expanding its footprint in key Indian cities
To expand its footprint in southern India, IHG Hotels & Resorts, leading hospitality group has signed a management agreement with Sakthi Elegant Towers India to develop Holiday Inn Chennai Vandalur.
In a press statement, IHG says that slated to open in 2026, this venture marks a significant expansion of its luxury portfolio in the region. It adds that the new hotel will add 200 keys to its presence in South India, expanding its footprint in key Indian cities.
IHG says that the new property will be located just a short drive from Chennai International Airport in the Vandalur area, close to the city’s main industrial centres which is a home to major global corporations.
It adds that the hotel will join IHG’s portfolio of 58 Holiday Inn properties in the region.
