IHG Hotels to launch Holiday Inn in Allahabad

The hotel will feature 95 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a functional meeting room, and a well-equipped fitness centre

Reinforcing its foothold in Uttar Pradesh, IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the strategic partnership with GPKP to introduce Holiday Inn at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, that is scheduled to open in 2025.

In a press statement, IHG says that the new property will join its portfolio of 57 Holiday Inn hotels across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The chain says that Allahabad is a prominent commercial and religious centre, hosting millions of pilgrims for the Prayag Kumbh Mela and Megha Mela festivals. Holiday Inn will cater to their diverse needs, offering a welcoming environment for business trips, leisure stays, and religious pilgrimages. Upon opening, the hotel will feature 95 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a functional meeting room, and a well-equipped fitness centre.
