Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has appointed K P Singh as General Manager
The recently inaugurated luxury hotel by US-based Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Amritsar, has named veteran hospitality industrialist K P Singh as its General Manager.
According to a press statement by Le Méridien, K P Singh will oversee the senior management and operations teams strategically to strengthen the hotel’s revenue pillars. Singh has over two decades of expertise in the premium and luxury hotel businesses.
In his current role, Singh will have an expanded spectrum of responsibilities, such as creating strategic plans, putting new ideas into practice in accordance with Marriott standards, enhancing operational and financial performance, and looking into opportunities for growth in the dynamic industry. He will play a key role in the hotel’s future growth and direct the team to provide hospitality services, says the hotel.
The statement adds that K P Singh has held multiple leading positions at premium five-star hotels previously in provinces like Bali, Sanya, Beijing, Shanghai in Asia, Dubai and Riyadh in the Middle East and northern Virginia in the USA before moving to Amritsar. He has handled both operational and strategic responsibilities during the span of his career, with extensive experience in food and beverage operations, hotel openings both nationally and internationally.

The statement adds that Singh has a dual diploma from the Hotel Institute Montreux, Switzerland and an MBA degree from British Open University.
