Pugdundee Safaris, a wildlife tourism company based in Haryana, has launched a walking safari in the Satpura Tiger Reserve, located in Madhya Pradesh, offering a five-day trek and camping to customers seeking adventure activities.
In a press statement, the company says that the safari will take clients through the core and buffer zones of the tiger reserve, combining forest trails, river crossings and stays at a mobile camp set up exclusively for the group. It adds that travellers will trek for around six to seven hours a day, accompanied by experienced naturalists and a dedicated camp crew, with evenings spent around campfires under open skies.

The statement adds that the programme begins with a stay at Denwa Backwater Escape in Hoshangabad district, with clients having the option of a boat or jeep safari before the walking experience begins. The two-night mobile camp stay will feature walk-in tents, fresh meals, lantern lighting, bucket showers and dry pit toilets, offering a more rustic wilderness experience.

The statement adds that the safari is slated for November 20 to 24, this year and February 8 to 12 in 2027, which will cost INR 81,000 per person on twin sharing, excluding taxes of 5 pc.
