Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH), a policy platform for the tourism and hospitality sector, has a new Chairman as Puneet Chhatwal, Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), which runs the Taj Hotels Group, was elected to the position in the election for the 2024-26 term that were held on Tuesday in New Delhi.

In a press statement, FAITH says that besides Chhatwal, who is also the President of Hotel Association of India, the other newly-elected office bearers for the 2024-26 term include Ajeet Bajaj from the Travel Agents Association of India and Ajay Prakash from the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), both as Vice Chairmen, Rajiv Mehra from the Indian Association of Tour Operators as General Secretary and  Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney from the Indian Tourist Transporters Association as Treasurer.

FAITH says that these individuals have been elected unopposed to their respective positions for the upcoming two-year term.

The statement adds that Mehra thanked Homa Mistry, the Returning Officer for the elections. On behalf of the elected Office Bearers, he assured to work together for the betterment of the tourism and hospitality industry.
