40th Annual Convention of IATO to be held in Puri in August
Over 900 industry stakeholders likely to attend

The 40th Annual Convention of Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) will be held at Puri in Odisha from August 22, gathering over 900 delegates from across India.

Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), a leading association of Indian tour operators, has announced that the 40th Annual IATO Convention will take place from August 22 to 25 at Puri in Odisha.
In a statement, IATO says that it expects Ministry of Tourism and Government of India and 15-18 states presence in the convention.
“Swosti Premium Beach Resort, Puri, will be the venue hotel and all the activities on all the three days which include registration for the convention, inaugural function, business sessions and evening programmes will be held at Swosti Premium Beach Resort. Taj Puri Resort & Spa, ITC Fortune Beachfront, Mayfair Heritage & Mayfair Waves, Sterling, Regenta Central, Empires Hotel in Puri are the partner hotels,” says Rajiv Mehra, President, Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO).
“The theme of the convention and other logistics are being finalised and will be informed in the due course,” he adds.
Ravi Gosain, Vice President, IATO added that the the organisation expects about 900 delegates from all over the country to participate which will include senior officials from the Indian Tourism Ministry as well as state tourism boards, besides industry leaders, tourism and hospitality professionals, travel trade media.
