Bengaluru will see twice-daily flights to Ahmedabad and Chandigarh, and daily flights to Dehradun
Air India Express, the low-cost subsidiary of Air India, will connect Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Dehradun to its Bengaluru hub starting September 1.
In a press statement, the expansion, supported by a fleet of 116 aircraft, marks the airline’s push into high-potential markets.
The statement adds that in the first phase, Bengaluru will see twice-daily flights to Ahmedabad and Chandigarh, and daily flights to Dehradun. The Ahmedabad–Bengaluru second daily service will commence from September 16.

It adds that introductory one-way fares begin at INR 4,100, available on the airline’s website and major booking platforms.
Air India Express says that according to the schedule, Ahmedabad–Bengaluru flights will depart at 11:00 and 23:00, while the return legs from Bengaluru leave at 07:55 and 19:55. Chandigarh services depart at 16:40 and 23:25, with Bengaluru departures at 13:15 and 20:00. Dehradun–Bengaluru flights will run daily from September 15, departing at 16:30 and returning from Bengaluru at 12:50.
The airline highlights unique regional identities through its Tales of India aircraft liveries, featuring Gujarat’s Bandhani, Punjab’s Phulkari and Uttarakhand’s Aipan designs.
According to the statement, Air India Express currently operates over 405 weekly flights from Bengaluru to 34 domestic and three international destinations, with additional one-stop connections to 14 overseas locations. The carrier also offers bundled holiday packages through its Xpress Holidays platform designed for travellers to book their entire vacation from flights and accommodations to transportation and activities.
