Chatt Puja festival is a four day long festival dedicated to the Sun god, celebrated primarily in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Dating back to the ancient era, the final day of Chatt Puja is a major attraction in which people gather in large numbers to take a holy dip and offer prayer to the sun.
