Miniature Paintings of Udaipur

Miniature painting is one of the oldest art forms in India, dating back to the 11th century. Numerous erstwhile royal courts influenced this Indian art form and they used unique equipments to produce vivid paintings. Although now the art form is suffering a setback, few passionate artists along with exhibitions and galleries in India and abroad, are keeping the art alive.
