Hilton Chennai Egmore will provide nearly 1579.35 sqm of event space
Hospitality group Hilton Hotels has announced that it will be setting up its second property in Chennai in collaboration with MKR Estate Developers, a subsidiary of MGM Healthcare Group.
In a press statement, Hilton says that the new property, Hilton Chennai Egmore, is planned to open in January 2029, making it the newest addition to the hospitality infrastructure in the capital of Tamil Nadu.

In a statement, Hilton says that the location of the hotel, within a larger mixed-use development subsidiary which also includes a business office tower, is conveniently located in Egmore, the cultural and commercial heart of Chennai. Along with office spaces, the development is also expected to contain other business tourism related facilities.
It adds that the upcoming property will feature 195 rooms and suites, with standard rooms averaging 36.23 sqm. The hotel will also feature wellness and recreation facilities including a spa, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools, and dedicated areas for children, including a play zone.
