Travel Trends: From AI in 2025 to America in 2026
The November-December issue of India Outbound magazine is out and in this issue we focus on two elements that are not only making their impact felt currently in the Indian market, but are bound to increase in the future, for entirely different reasons, though.
The first issue deals with the rapid transition of the Indian travel and tourism industry towards adoption of AI-driven tools to enhance their own internal processes as well as improve customer experience. We speak to players as well as analysts to see the road ahead.
The second main topic of this issue deals with an unprecendented series of globally important events that are set to play out in the United States in 2026, namely the 250th Anniversary of US independence, the 2026 FIFA Football World Cup and finally the Centennial Celebrations of Route 66. We bring first hand reports from two of the cities that will be at the centre of attraction in 2026, Chicago, where Route 66 began and New York, that is epitome of the American Dream.
We also look at the resumption flights between India and China and the likely impact on tourism, as well as see how far Africa has come as a destination in India in 2025.
